Classes We Offer

SWING(RED ON CALENDAR)

Adult Swing
This class is designed for dancers with some experience. Every single class we go over the basics and then throw in some new moves to get you swinging. Eventually you’ll be surprised how simple steps and combinations turn into a beautiful choreography you can actually perform. Our class focuses on all the classics of swing dance, Lindy Hop 6 & 8-count, and 1920s & 1930s Charleston. We will also introduce reasonable influences of Blues, Rock-N-Roll, and even Broadway Dance, so ''Sharing Fun Steps to Fabulous Music'' would be a short definition of our style. Having two instructors in class makes it possible to give you individual attention, to present new material from different points of view, and turn a regular class into a dance party and/or show case. Bringing a partner with you is recommended, but not required. We look forward to seeing you there!

Intro to Swing Series (Adults)
We’ll be doing Swing, Blues, Charleston, Lindy (with acrobatics if you can), American and European style, and just Basics or Performance (if you want)!
The class is designed for beginners but students of all levels are welcome. We’re trying to provide “private class” quality of instructions for the group lesson price. This is possible because this is the only swing class you may find in the Bay Area with two instructors plus one (or more) TA(s).
